However, there are also some important factors to keep in mind when visiting Sin City with children:

Are children allowed in Las Vegas casinos?

🎲 Children under 21 are allowed in casinos, but only to walk through them and always when accompanied by someone over 21. Children are not allowed to stand near slot machines or gaming tables; this is strictly enforced, and staff will immediately call you out if you do so.

What areas should you avoid in Las Vegas with kids?

• The Strip at night. Although children are allowed to walk along the Strip at night as long as they are accompanied by an adult, it’s true that the atmosphere isn’t the best: there are crowds, alcohol, women handing out flyers for adult clubs, etc.
• The Fremont Street Experience at night. Although there are no age restrictions for children accompanied by adults, it’s definitely best to visit this street with children during the day.

Is there a curfew for children in Las Vegas?

🕧 Yes, there is a curfew for minors under 18 who are out alone, both on the Strip and in Downtown. You should always carry your ID with you in case the police ask to see it, as fines can reach $300. This does not apply if minors are accompanied by their parents or guardians.

The curfew hours are:

Fly LINQ Zipline

The site is divided into three areas: the visitor center (which used to be the lobby of La Concha Motel), the Neon Boneyard (an open-air plaza where most of the signs are located), and the North Gallery.

Atomic Museum

One of them is the Bellagio Conservatory & Botanical Gardens, an indoor botanical garden located inside the hotel. Its decoration changes with each season, so if you visit Las Vegas multiple times, it’s always a new experience. We went in the spring and it was beautiful, with its array of flowers, birds, butterflies, and bees.

And of course, we couldn't leave out one of the city's most popular shows: the Bellagio Fountain light and sound show, one of the best free things to do in Las Vegas, where the spectacular fountain comes to life. Show times vary depending on the day of the week:

• Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays: every 30 minutes from 12:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. and every 15 minutes from 8:00 p.m. to midnight.

• 🍫Hershey's Chocolate World: located at New York-New York, it offers more than 800 types of candy, merchandise, and chocolate replicas of the Statue of Liberty.
• 🍬M&M'S: With four floors, it captivates adults and children alike with its bright colors, the option to customize and print M&Ms, its 3D theater, and the giant figures of the famous chocolate candies.
• 🥤Coca-Cola Store: you’ll recognize it by the huge glass bottle at the entrance—which is actually the elevator. There’s plenty of merchandise here; you can customize Coca-Cola cans and try up to 14 flavors from around the world that you’ve probably never seen before.
• 🍭I Love Sugar: located on the LINQ Promenade, this candy store offers all kinds of sweet treats, such as caramel mermaids and giant gummy bears. Upstairs is the Candy Martini Bar, where they serve candy-themed cocktails.

Fremont Street Experience

Located in Las Vegas’ historic downtown district is one of the city’s major attractions. At the Fremont Street Experience, the word “madness” truly comes to life, as casinos, bars, free concerts, street performers, a zip line that runs the length of the street, and the famous music and light show—among other things—crowd beneath the LED screen.

If you want to visit this place with children, it’s best to go during the day, since at night the atmosphere gets pretty chaotic and isn’t recommended for young children. We’ll explain you more about this place in our guide to visiting Fremont Street Experience.

Container Park

Just a short walk from the Fremont Street Experience is this unique open-air shopping center made out of old shipping containers. Kids will love the huge mantis at the entrance—at night, it shoots flames from its antennae!

Once inside, you can browse the small independent shops or grab a bite at one of the bars or ice cream shops. There’s a playground in the center, so the little ones will have plenty to keep them entertained. Remember that after 10 p.m., this venue is restricted to 21 and older.

Pinball Hall of Fame: vintage machines at great prices

These pinball machines have been restored, and each game costs 25 cents on the older models and 50 cents on the newer ones—a real bargain for Las Vegas! That’s why this place doesn’t have the flashy features or modern amenities of other arcades; instead, it looks more like a thrift store.

Area15 & Meow Wolf Omega Mart

Just a few minutes from the Strip is Area15 (not to be confused with Nevada’s Area51), a space that looks like a bunker from the outside but has a truly surprising interior that blends art, music, and fun. Here you’ll find massive art installations, virtual reality games, spaces featuring optical illusions, escape rooms, shows, and some of the most unique bars and restaurants.

One of the most popular attractions is the Meow Wolf Omega Mart, a satirical supermarket filled with bizarre products, doors that lead to other worlds, and even a hidden bar serving cocktails. Kids also tend to love the Illuminarium, as it takes them on a journey to discover galaxies and the African savanna through its immersive screens.

VR Adventures at LINQ Promenade
